Water Management

Effective and responsible water management is a priority at each of our operations. We work to reduce our water-related impacts through collaboration, partnership, minimizing water take, a strong focus on operational controls, and improving operational performance. This includes operating water treatment facilities across our operations to ensure water is effectively treated prior to discharge.

To support this approach, each site develops and regularly updates site-specific water management plans, and we track and report on water use in accordance with internationally recognised water accounting standards, and publicly report on our performance against key water metrics, including water withdrawal, consumption, and discharge.
