Fraud Alert: Protect Yourself from Scams

We have been alerted to fraudulent activities where individuals claim to represent OceanaGold or its affiliates, subsidiaries and related entities (referred to as OceanaGold, we, us or our) offering deceptive investment opportunities. These include, but are not limited to, counterfeit offers of gold bullion sales, fake job / recruitment offers, fake exchange or takeover bids, and fraudulent memberships or digital assets purportedly linked to us.

The individuals orchestrating these schemes typically use sophisticated tactics to appear credible. These include utilising forged documents bearing the OceanaGold logo, impersonating OceanaGold executives or Board Directors, creating counterfeit websites with content mirrored from our official site, and using email addresses that mimic the legitimate OceanaGold domain.

Recognize Fraud

All legitimate OceanaGold emails come from the domain @oceanagold.com. Any communication from alternative domains or social media platforms should be considered suspicious.

We do not sell products directly to the public and we do not solicit investments through any unauthorized platforms. All hiring is done through Smart Recruiters and our Talent Acquisition team maintains direct contact with any candidates we are progressing forward with. OceanaGold will never ask potential candidates to make payment of visa or work permit fees to OceanaGold as a condition of commencing their employment with us.

Always verify any investment, business or employment proposal supposedly associated with OceanaGold through our official channels listed on our website.

Reporting and Assistance
