Details of monitoring and reporting to the Waikato Regional Council prior to, during and post-construction and operation to determine if the IWAEMP objectives are being met; and f. Details of the roles and responsibilities of key staff responsible for implementing the IWAEMP and procedures for training of contractors and other Project staff regarding the IWAEMP. Riparian Vegetation Management Plan G44 As part of the IWAEMP the Consent Holder shall prepare a Riparian Vegetation Management Plan which shall include, as a minimum: a. The location of the riparian planting areas; b. Details of how the riparian areas will be prepared prior to planting; c. A planting plan that details the type, number, size and spacing of plants for each riparian area, including a list of suitable alternative plant species that can be substituted in accordance with Condition G36 for species which are identified during annual maintenance as consistently failing; d. A programme detailing the timing of the planting in each area to achieve Conditions G34 and G36. e. General monitoring, maintenance and replacement requirements to achieve Condition G38. Freshwater Management Plan G45 As part of the IWAEMP the Consent Holder shall prepare a Freshwater Management Plan which shall include, as a minimum: a. The detailed design and construction methodology for all reinstated and diverted streams in accordance with Condition G33; b. Methods for guiding the way native fish and kōura salvage and relocation, occurs which includes: i. Baseline surveys for fish and kōura in the watercourses; ii. A requirement to place fish exclusion barriers at the upstream and downstream extent of the stream works site so migration back into the stream works site is not possible; iii. The credentials and contact details of the ecologist who will implement the plan; iv. A methodology for fish trapping and transfer, and electrofishing; v. A methodology for kōura trapping and transfer; vi. The location and description of the relocation site(s); and
