It is possible that some lizard species suited to grassland habitats (e.g. copper skink) may be present within the farm property in ungrazed areas, although these were assessed as small and isolated at the time of survey and we consider it unlikely lizards are present. Surveys are required within the Project Area to confirm lizard values. Vegetation on the boundary of CFP and Willows Road farm was assessed as lower quality habitat for native lizards, compared to interior forest areas. Vegetation in this area generally comprised less complex vegetation communities and lower refuge availability. Rats and possums were observed during surveys. Coromandel Forest Park
