Specialist environmental staff are employed, and the emphasis is on making all staff aware of their environmental obligations through inductions and ongoing training. OceanaGold publishes carbon emissions as part of its annual Sustainability report in line with the requirements of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and recommendations of the Task Force for Climaterelated Financial Disclosure (TCFD). Reporting includes a differentiation of Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions for each of our operations and at an organisational level.
