We have commissioned a comprehensive Energy Transition Study for our Macraes operation to identify and assess the effectiveness of emission reduction options and have undertaken a site-level workshop at our Waihi operation. The resultant options are currently being assessed for local application. The range of actions being considered are presented below. Our initial focus is on emissions reductions and energy efficiency options. Once this is complete, capture, sequestration and offsets will become a focus.
