This includes an access portal that will provide access via a tunnel to the Wharekirauponga ore body. In addition, an underground tunnel will be constructed to provide a connection to the existing Waihi Processing Plant to facilitate the movement of ore from the mine to the processing plant, and rock from the processing plant to the underground mine. The GOP, NRS and TSF3 are located in Waihi, adjacent to the existing processing operations (Figure 3).
