The database has been searched to identify all reported crashes which occurred during the most recent five -year period from 2016 to 2020 inclusive for the principal access roads and the associated intersections with s tate highways. The search area included: • Willows Road and within the functional zone of the intersection of Willows Road and SH25 ; • Baxter Road and the intersection of Baxter Road with SH2; and • Kenny Street Access. The search identified a total of nine crashes, of which two resulted in minor injury and the others were all non-injury crashes as depicted in Figure 23, Figure 24, and Figure 25 and detailed as follows: • There were no recorded crashes on either Willows Road or the intersection of Willows Road and SH25 (and within 250m of the intersection); • No crashes were recorded on Baxter Road; • Four crashes occurred on SH2 in the vicinity of Baxter Road intersection but none at the intersection its elf: − A minor injury crash approximately 260 m north of Baxter Road caused by a vehicle turning from the centre with following vehicles unable to stop in time creating a multiple rear end collision. − A non-injury crash 60 m north of Baxter Road involving a multiple vehicle rear end collision in a road construction zone under temporary traffic control. − A minor-injury crash occurred to the south of Baxter Road at the intersection with Crean Road when a driver of a car exiting Crean Road failed to give way to a northbound van (right turn, right side). The van was obscured from the view of the car driver behind a milk tanker which was slowing to turn left into Crean Road. − A non-injury a single vehicle loss of traction and loss of traction to the left off the road in wet conditions approximately 120 m south of Crean Road. • Five non-injury crashes occurred on Kenny Street in the vicinity of the Barry Road access gate: − Two northbound single vehicle loss of control on the right -hand curve near the access − One northbound vehicle loss of control on the right-hand curve hit opposing vehicle − One southbound single vehicle loss of control on the right-hand curve (north of the Barry Road access) − One northbound crash involving u-turning vehicle hit by following vehicle in the vicinity of Clarke Street.
