APPLICATION The installation of monitoring instruments, probing, grouting and dewatering is likely to be undertaken predominantly from permanent centralised locations underground and developed in sequence with the mine planning. Instrument installation and treatment will be completed from underground chambers (developed from exploration cuddies) and will support ongoing monitoring and treatment activities. These chambers will be designed to target key pathways and will allow for specific monitoring and grouting (curtain grout) to be placed as required. Pre-grouting development will target shafts, drives and stopes. Where required, specific drives will need to be developed in anticipation to allow sufficient time for dewatering to occur before the actual mine development under the pre-grouting configuration.
