Dual Access Tunnels 3.1 Description The proposed access tunnel would be a dual tunnel system that connects the WKP mine to the OGL owned Willow Farm site. The dual tunnels would be some 5.5 km in total length and includes a portal, a 1.3 km decline and vent shaft at Willows Farm. The proposed layout is included in Figure 13. Figure 13 Access Tunnel Layout The dual tunnels are 5.8 m wide x 6.0 m heigh with a 30 m separation distance. There are cross cuts at approximately 200 m spacings and there will be a series of cuddies to house infrastructure. 3.2 Characterisation Characterisation along the tunnel alignment has been undertaken at a desk top level (GHD) based on published geological information. Some site characterisation has been undertaken through onsite investigations at Willows Farm in relation to the portal, decline and vent shaft locations.
