Wharekirauponga Underground Mine (WUG) 2.1 Description The proposal is to develop an underground mine using typical mining methods to recover ore via a series of declines and stopes from the Eastern Graben vein (EG) and Tewaotemutu Stream vein (T-Stream) systems shown in Figure 4.
