Grout Pumping and Injection Operations TR 003 3. CONDUCT GROUTING OF HOLE - GROUT INJECTION 3.1. Operating the Grout Plant to Inject the Grout After completion of the previous sections, grout injection operations can now commence. The following instructions detail the correct methods for operating the grout plant to inject grout: ▪ Grout recirculation valve open. ▪ Grout discharge valve closed. ▪ Grout hose should be connected to pump discharge and already flushed with water. Grout Bleed Test 1. Clean cylinder and make sure there is no free water – shake out any water 2. Fill cylinder with completely mixed grout –be careful to fill only to the 1000ml mark 3. Place filled cylinder away from the workings on flat and level surface, free from any vibration 4. Leave undisturbed for 2 hours and then read ΔH – the amount of free water on the top of the grout. 5.
