Grout Pumping and Injection Operations TR 003 ▪ Additives – add the superplasticiser (SP-40) and the GroutAid using graduated jugs or buckets, directly into the top of the mixer. ▪ Cement – bags are placed directly on top of the “bag cutter” built into the mixer grate. Then lift each end of the bag up and fold vertically as the bag splits through the middle, shake to make sure all cement is pushed down into the mixer. Repeat for the correct number of bags. ▪ Once all cement is added, mixing shall continue for at least three (3) minutes to ensure complete and effective mixing. ▪ Transfer mixed grout to the Agitator Tank by moving the tube valve lever across to the discharge position (left). ▪ Return the valve lever once discharged and prepare mixer for next batch or wash out. ▪ Agitator Tank shall have stirrer rotating – rotate operation lever to right and tank hatch should be closed when filling tank to avoid splashing. 2.2.
