Grout Pumping and Injection Operations TR 003 ▪ Check Grout Pump Flow Control Valve is closed (fully closed clockwise). ▪ Check Grout Pump Pressure Control knobs are at zero pressure (fully out anticlockwise). ▪ Check Grout Pump On/Off lever is in the OFF position (horizontal). ▪ Check the Grout Mixer lever is in the OFF position (to the left). ▪ Check the Agitator Tank lever is in the OFF position (to the left). ▪ Look inside Grout Mixer and Grout Agitator tank to see if they contain water or any foreign material. Remove any foreign matter by hand if practical or by flushing with water when plant is operational. ▪ Check Grout Agitator tank safety switch moves up freely when hatch is lifted. ▪ Check condition and operation of the Grout Mixer “Tube Valves” and roller mechanism. Ensure lever is returned to the “Mix” position (to the right).
