The purpose of this model is to understand seepage from the rock stack to ground, and potential mounding of the deeper groundwater levels. This model set up is considered appropriate where: – The WRS gully is separated from the deeper groundwater system; and – The rock drain will have the strongest hydraulic influence on the water flow in the rock stack and create an inward gradient to the base of the WRS gully.
