All erosion and sediment controls will be installed and maintained in accordance with the Waikato Regional Council Technical Report 2009/02 ‘Erosion and Sediment Control Guidelines for Soil Disturbing Activities’ (TR2009/02). 2. Completed areas to be stabilised in accordance with TR2009/02. 3. All erosion and sediment control measures will be inspected weekly by the site foreman. 4. Site monitoring will be undertaken before and immediately after rain as well as during heavy rainfall events. Any required maintenance or improvements to control measures will be undertaken immediately. Construction Methodology – Collection Pond Clean water diversions existing, constructed as part of Stage 1 (refer to ESCP-TSF3-001-02). SRP-TSF3-06 (constructed as part of Stage 1) to be utilised for the construction of the Collection Ponds. Perimeter bunds / dirty water diversions will be installed below the Collection Pond to direct runoff from the batters to the SRP. During the construction of the Collection Ponds, any impounded water in the Pond will be pumped into the SRP for treatment. Shear key construction to the north of the Collection Ponds will also be completed. Impounded water will be pumped to SRPTSF3-06. The construction of the Collection Ponds requires an undercut of up to 3m of which will also create impoundment volume during this phase of the earthworks. Water will be pumped to SRP-TSF3-06. KEY Erosion and Sediment Control Clean Water Diversion Dirty Water Diversion Culvert Silt Fence Sediment Retention Pond Peleo gully undercut completed and backfilled with structural fill. SRP-TSF3-06 Catchment area: 5.0ha Total volume: 1,500m3 Dead storage: 450m3 Live storage: 1,050m3 Shear key construction. Existing clean water diversion constructed as part of Stage 1 (refer to ESCP-TSF3-001-02). Realigned sections of Ruahorehore Stream. Refer to ESCP-TSF3-001-04 for details.
