| Project Description | WNP – Air Discharge Assessment - Wharekirauponga Underground Mine -t| 4397169-66885702-23 | |11 2 Project Description 2.1 Overview The WNP includes a number of different elements which are described more fully in the Assessment of Environmental Effects report prepared by Mitchell Daysh3. This Air Discharges Technical Report focuses on the surface infrastructure aspects of the project which are most relevant to air discharges from the proposed activities. The surface infrastructure associated with the development of the tunnels will be located on an approximately 200ha area of farmland owned by OGNZL at Willows Road, 4-5km north of Waihi. It is estimated that the footprint of the surface infrastructure on the Willows Rd site will be approximately 18ha. Certain critical infrastructure will be established prior to commencement of tunnelling with additional infrastructure to support mining being established later prior to commencement of operation.
