Waihi Emergency Principal Control Plan Approved by: General Manager/SSE Approval Date: 26/03/2021 Next Review:26/03/2022 OceanaGold Waihi WAI-250-PLN-001 Page 15 of 124 4.0 RISK ASSESSMENT Risk Assessments Process A series of risk assessments have been completed for emergency management at Waihi Gold Mine Operations: • All foreseeable emergencies have been identified and risk assessed with input from technical staff, operational staff, the Health, Safety and Training department and Health and Safety committee. The Waihi Site wide risk register & assesments are held digitally on the local network G Drive. They are found in G/Dept Heads/Risk. • To mitigate the risks around emergency management associated controls clarified • For each major event identified there is a corresponding trigger action response plan to show when the incident escalates and what action needs to be taken • All rescue capabilities were established and documented to ensure the any accident or major incident is responded to safety and efficiently • The following foreseeable emergencies are summarized in the table below: Table 2 Foreseeable Emergencies Potential incident / accident Potential location Internal response required Casualty management outcome External services provided 1.
