381_M_05_Rev0 - WUG Monitoring and Testing Program 4 3. MONITORING AND TRIGGER POINTS 3.1. BACKGROUND The constraints experienced by OGNZL with drill sites and permissions to access the near-stream locations suggests the completion of data collection in two phases in the near-term. This staged approach is made necessary by the following constraints: • Difficulty in achieving access to near-stream locations; • Greater number of locations of data collection (and collection depths), targeting key zones of interest The phased approach feeds into the wider Exploration Phase and Mining Phase presented in Attachment A. The following section is therefore broken down into two phases, Phase 1 includes existing monitoring points and several proposed locations at existing drill sites. Phase 2 comprises of further proposed near-stream bores that are to be completed after Phase 1 and pending access approval (AA). It is important to note that the following represents a summary of future monitoring program requirements rather than a detailed and established program listing monitoring frequencies, analytes, installation and testing procedures. 3.2. MONITORING NETWORK 3.2.1. PHASE 1 The Phase 1 network is outlined in Table 1 and Table 2 of Attachment B, for the purpose of developing baseline knowledge of the groundwater conditions and aquifer parameters in the area. The location of these bores in shown in attached Figures 2 and 4, with construction details listed in Attachment B. The VWPs will be permanently grouted into the hole providing equivalent water levels based on pressure. A series of standpipes piezometers fitted with groundwater level loggers are proposed at the same locations to be used for hydraulic testing, water chemistry data and water levels. 3.2.2. PHASE 2 The Phase 2 network is a tentative program pending approval (expected December 2022/January 2023), and will involve the construction of shallow bores, soil infiltration testing and streambed horizontal and vertical hydraulic conductivity to investigate the connectivity between these streams and the shallow aquifer and streambed conductance. These proposed bores are listed Table 3 of Attachment B and shown in attached Figures 3 and 4 of Attachment B. 3.3. PARAMETERS MONITORED The following parameters focuses on identifying surface/deep aquifer relationships intended to record both natural and induced stress variations for both aquifers, clarify their relationship and the range of parameters considered in the numerical models. The following procedures will be completed on the Phase 1 infrastructure: • Water levels; • Installation of instruments for ongoing data acquisition; • Field parameters (pH, Temp, DO, EC, TDS & Redox); • Water chemistry sampling (samples to be sent to laboratory for analysis);
