Again, the extent of drawdown effects can be observed in Figures A5 and A6 based on a range of assumed rockmass permeability values. The results indicate limited surface drainage effects where a low rockmass permeability is adopted and more extensive effects when a fractured rockmass permeability value is applied. It is recommended that further assessment is undertaken using a 3-dimensional, interactive groundwater-surface water model that can adequately represent the geometry and complexity of the system.
