44 7. Limitations This document has been prepared by GWS Limited solely for the benefit of OceanaGold. It has been prepared on the basis of the instructions or brief given to GWS Limited by OceanaGold. This report is based on the ground conditions indicated from published sources and from reports that include subsurface investigations that have been undertaken by other parties based on accepted normal methods of site investigations. Only a limited amount of information has been reviewed in the preparation of this report which does not purport to completely describe all the site subsurface characteristics and properties. The nature and continuity of the ground between test locations has been inferred using experience and judgement and it must be appreciated that actual conditions could vary from those assumed. This report represents an assessment based on the information made available at the time of its preparation. Other studies that relate to the effects of the mine dewatering are still being undertaken, in particular the interactions between groundwater / surface waters and the geochemistry of the mine water. The outcomes of those assessment may affect or change the conclusions made in this report.
