The Ohinemuri River flow is largely contained within its banks with minimal flooding in the vicinity of existing mine infrastructure up to a 100 year ARI event. G-5 Future development results Figure 9 shows the floodplain maps for the area of interest and show flooding of the Ruahorehore Stream and Ohinemuri River with the NRS, NRS collection pond and Gladstone Pit in place. The Ohinemuri River flow is largely contained within its banks with minimal flooding in the vicinity of existing and proposed future mining infrastructure. The proposed NRS collection pond design will need to account for flood inundation potential. There is no predicted impact on upstream or downstream flood potential from the proposed mine development.
