Waihi North Project Preliminary Site Investigation (Ground Contamination) Williamson Water & Land Advisory Limited Property files were received for 95 Trig Road North on 27 September 2021. Key files are: • A 1972 consent application for a garage specifies fibrolite cladding. Given the age of the garage, it is highly likely that the fibrolite contains asbestos. • A dwelling was consented in 1980; it was proposed to be constructed from timber with a corrugated iron roof. There is no mention of potential asbestos-containing products within it. • Files confirm consenting of a new dairy shed in 1998, a hay barn in 1999 and a garage in 2000. A relocatable dwelling was moved onto the site in 2003 and extensions made to an existing dwelling in 2008. None of these are likely to have resulted in ground contamination at the property.
