Storage 3 will be formed by a 46 m high downstream constructed earth and rockfill embankment dam with a proposed crest at RL155. Storage 3 can be developed into a TSF in a similar and safe manner as accomplished for Storage 1A and 2. The preliminary design analyses confirm that the expected performance meets criteria in the NZDSG.
