Table 8 below shows the results of 5 different Brazilian tests. The UCS:UTS ratio ranges from 8 to 18. The UCS in the rhyolite samples ranged from 1.4 to 5 MPa, however all of the rhyolite samples were taken from core with a density of less than the 1st quartile value of 2.44.
