123 other measuring, testing, recording and analytical methods as may be required from time to time pursuant to the requirements of this consent shall be to the satisfaction of the Waikato Regional Council. Freshwater Management Unit Review 27 Within six months of any change to the relevant Regional Plan that is intended to give effect to the National Objectives Framework contained in the National Policy Statement for Freshwater Management 2020 being made operative, the Consent Holder shall engage an appropriately qualified and independent expert(s) to review the discharge limits and receiving environment standards in Condition 11. The purpose of this review shall be to determine whether it is necessary to impose new discharge limits, and/or receiving environment standards to be consistent with the requirements of the relevant Regional Plan. This shall include: a. An evaluation of the monitoring undertaken in accordance with Conditions 14 – 19; and b. A review of whether the discharge limits are appropriate in respect of the environmental outcomes and associated attribute states and limits set for the FMU in which the discharge is located and included within the relevant Regional Plan. A copy of this review shall be provided to the Waikato Regional Council, within 12 months of the change to the relevant Regional Plan becoming operative. Advice note: If this review recommends that amendments to the discharge limits or receiving environment standards are necessary, then: a, The Consent Holder may apply for a change to the conditions of this consent under s127 of the RMA to implement the recommendations; or b. The Waikato Regional Council may initiate a formal review of the consent in accordance with General Condition G54. Other Reporting 28 Unless otherwise agreed by Waikato Regional Council in writing the results of the interim monitoring shall be reported to the Waikato Regional Council within two months of spring sampling. A full report detailing the results of all monitoring specified in Condition 15, Table 5 shall be submitted to Waikato Regional Council by 30 July each year following the autumn sampling. This report shall include a comparison of the sediment data with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and Ontario Ministry of Environment sediment quality guidelines.
