111 satisfaction of the Waikato Regional Council, to ensure rapid dispersion and dilution of the discharges. 8 The diffusers shall be installed at a location and in a manner that ensures initial mixing over a width or cross-sectional area as agreed by the Waikato Regional Council. The initial mixing zone shall not affect one bank of the river so as to allow passage of migratory aquatic fauna. 9 The diffusers shall be designed and installed so that complete mixing is achieved within a maximum downstream distance of; - 500 m from the upstream discharge point (E1), and - 250 m from the downstream discharge point (E2). Discharge Limits and Receiving Environment Standards 10 At all times the Consent Holder shall ensure that the effects of this discharge, in combination with the effects of any and all other discharges from the Consent Holder’s activity, do not, downstream of the mixing zone, cause harm to the aquatic life of the Ohinemuri river, nor prevent the reasonable use of this resource by any other user. 11 The treated water discharge shall at all times comply with the following limits specified in Tables 1, 2, and 3.
