As concluded in Section 5.6 of this AEE, overall, the damming and diversion of water within Area 6 will not result in a more than minor adverse change to the natural variability of flows of freshwater levels within the surrounding area (and are likely to be unmeasurable). These outcomes are further secured by way of resource consent conditions, as described in Section 6 of this AEE.80 7.6.1.2 Management of water resources The management outcomes sought for all waterbodies within the region are described in Objective 3.1.2 and associated policies.
